We are sharing theseimportant remindersbecause you have students with unconditional offers of place at Victoria University of Wellington forTrimester 2 starting on 8 July 2024. Please read the information below carefully and share it with your students.

Students must be enrolled in their courses before arriving to New Zealand– they can do this onPūaha, our student portaland you cannot do it for them. Depending on the enrolment status indicated on theAgent Portal, there might be some actions required of your students – please prompt them to finalise their enrolment as soon as possible.

Note→ All the pre-arrival information here has already been shared with your students by email – please ask them to monitor their emails to ensure a smooth start to the trimester for them.

Agent Portal

Admission and enrolment status are available on theAgent Portalin the Application section as shown below.

If you don’t have access to the Portal, email us atinternational@vuw.ac.nz.

Understand Enrolment Statuses

Here’s what our enrolment statuses mean:

  • “No enrolment application”: The student has yet to start their enrolment application. Please direct them toPūaha, our student portal. They can see what courses to take in their first year on the programme page.
  • “Draft”: The student has started their enrolment application but not submitted it yet. Please prompt them to submit a complete application urgently.
  • “Being Assessed”: The student has submitted their enrolment application and it is being reviewed by our enrolment team. The student should keep an eye on their emails for updates.
  • “Enrolment Agreement Sent”: The student’s course selection has been accepted and they must accept or decline it. Please prompt them to do so onPūaha, our student portal.

Other important reminders

  • Share the visa application number and date with us. Processing times for student visas are longer than usual so it’s important to have applied for a visa by now. If you have applied, please send us your application date and number tointernational@vuw.ac.nz. Once you receive your visa, make sure to send a copy of your visa toenrolment-enquiries@vuw.ac.nzand>international@vuw.ac.nz.
  • Read up on Orientation Week. International Orientation takes place from 2 to 5 July 2024 and the programme will be released soon.See here for details.
  • Late arrivals. Certain criteria must be met to allow for late arrivals, and late arrivals are capped at two weeks after course commencement for some programmes.See here for informationon what to do if your visa doesn’t arrive on time and you miss the start of the trimester.
