The University of Tasmania was rated as the number one university in the world for climate action for the third year running! This means the University of Tasmania will no longer be accepting the computer based tests taken after 12 Feb 2024. 剑桥英语机考(Cambridge English computer-based tests)不再被DHA接受。这意味着塔斯马尼亚大学将不再接受2024年2月12日之后的机考。 TOEFL iBT tests that were completed between 26 July 2023 and 4 May 2024 will not be accepted for Australian visa and migration purposes. Our international student recruitment team is expanding. We are pleased to announce that we have welcomed three new team members in North Asia. As the Korean market becomes increasingly important in our international student recruitment strategy, we have appointed Ms Yunmi Oh as our Country Manager- Korea and Japan based in Seoul to support Korean student recruitment in Korea and Japan. We have also appointed Ms Sue He as our Country Manager -China based in Guangzhou which complements our new strategy in the Chinese market. Last but not least, we have appointed Mr Patrick Lam based in Hong Kong as our Student Recruitment Officer assisting the North Asia team in student recruitment. This new course will commence in Semester 1, 2025. The degree is aimed at international students, with minimal to no work experience, seeking to undertake a generalist business postgraduate qualification. It offers students a comprehensive foundation in core business functions, leadership principles, and strategic business operations. The focus of this workshop was to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge about Tasmania and the University. Additionally, representatives from UP Education and ECA (affiliated with University of Tasmania Melbourne) were present to contribute to the workshop by discussing their individual programs. UTAS Agent FamTrip 2024: Experience Tasmania's Wonders In late April, recruitment partners and agents from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan were flown over to Tasmania for an exclusive fam trip showcasing the fantastic offerings of the University of Tasmania and our brand new bespoke facilities. The trip provided an immersive experience, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about courses first hand from academic staff, see the sights of Hobart and Launceston, and meet with current students and senior leaders at the university.
