We are writing to provide you with advance notice for the closing date for international applications for Semester Two at the University of Auckland. We aim to ensure that your students do not miss the opportunity to study at New Zealand’s leading university.

The University of Auckland’s Admission team has recently reviewed the current visa processing times with Immigration New Zealand. This assessment was carried out to evaluate the likelihood of international applicants being onshore in time for the start of Semester Two based on the submission date of their applications.

Considering these facts, we would like to inform you that applications for international postgraduate applicants will close for Semester Two on Friday, 24 May for most programmes. The study programme exceptions to this deadline are:

MCD Master of Community Dance

MDATS Master of Data Science

MPSTD Master of Professional Studies

We kindly request that you ensure all postgraduate applications are submitted before the specified deadline to avoid any potential disruptions or delays in the admission process.

We want to emphasise that this deadline is specific to postgraduate applications for Semester Two and will not affect applications to any other terms.
