IMPORTANT UPDATE  
DEADLINE EXTENSION 

Dear Partners,

We are writing to inform you that due to the increased demand, we have decided to extend the deadline for deposit payments to Friday, 16th August 2024.

This extension would be open to all Unconditional Offer Holders who have kept their UKVI maintenance funds and balance of tuition fees in their bank account from Friday, 2nd August 2024, as applicants who are yet to do this would fail to meet the 28-day period for their bank statement when making their visa application.

In light of the limited time for applicants that may pay their deposit at this time, we will be permitting applicants to undergo their Pre-CAS interview prior to the deposit being received by the University. Therefore, we request that the evidence of deposit payments be forwarded to internationalrecruitment@staffs.ac.uk once the payment has been made in order the applicant to be invited to book their Pre-CAS interview and submit their financial evidence documents. The deadline for applicants to undertake these compliance checks is Friday, 30th August 2024 to enable them receive their CAS on time.

In addition, please be reminded that it is crucial that you prepare the applicants for their Pre-CAS interviews. We have noticed an increasing pattern of coached/repeated answered throughout this process and would like to emphasise that the applicants should be individual prepared to respond based on their own independent thought and research. Ensuring that applicants are well-prepared will significantly increase their chances of a smooth and successful visa application process.

Furthermore, please note that applicants should be prepared to make use of the Priority Visa or Super-Priority Visa services in their home country. These expedited services will help ensure timely processing of their visas, allowing them to arrive on campus by the arrival date of Monday, 23rd September 2024 .
