The licence, awarded by the Indian University Grants Commission, now paves the way for formal planning to progress for a University of Southampton Delhi campus that will focus on delivering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects, including computing and engineering, as well as business, law and design.
All programmes delivered by University of Southampton Delhi will be taught and assessed to the same quality and standard as equivalent degrees offered in the UK with the same recognition and status respected by our qualifications worldwide.
The University has had an active presence in India for over fifty years, including formal academic partnerships and strong agent relationships. The new campus will enable Southampton to build on these current links through research and academic collaboration while ensuring civic and community engagement.
We will be keeping you, our valued agent partners, with up-to-date developments about our activities in India and we reassure you that our new campus in India will not alter the current relationship between you and the university. |
