Great news! Flinders University has accelerated its continuing rise in theQS World University Rankingsby jumping from 380th in 2024 to 336th in 2025.
Flinders University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Colin Stirling, said Australia’s fastest growing research institution was on the march with its sights now set on breaking into the top 300, corresponding to the top 1% of the world’s universities.
“This outstanding result is testament to our nation-leading performance in research growth, which has risen by over 140% in just five years but, crucially, this has been achieved without ever compromising on our unwavering commitment to top quality education and to student success,” Professor Stirling said.
“Our students are thriving in South Australia’s most modern and sustainable learning environment in Flinders new City Campus in Adelaide’s Festival Plaza, complementing our extensive campus network that reaches across South Australia and the Northern Territory.”
Meanwhile, the future of Flinders’ bio-medical research is expected to hit even greater heights as 600 researchers are set to move into the University’s purpose-built $280 millionHealth and Medical Research Buildingat Bedford Park, to drive research on disease prevention and whole-of-life care.
