Revised Pearson Test of English (PTE) requirements

Dear Valued Partners,

We would like to inform you of some important updates regarding the English language requirements for entry into courses offered at Curtin Singapore, concerning the Pearson Test of English (PTE).

Please be advised that with immediate effect, the following changes to the PTE Academic scores will apply:

• the Curtin University minimum requirement will now be an Overall score of 69 with no bands below 59 (this is applicable to courses with an overall IELTS requirement of 6.5 and all individual bands of 6.0)

• 科廷大学的最低要求现在是PTE总分69，单项不得低于59（适用于雅思总分6.5，单项不低于6.0分的课程）。

The PTE requirements for all other courses have also been raised accordingly. Our website that contains the list ofAcceptable English Testsis being updated to reflect the new scores.

所有其他课程的PTE要求也相应提高。官网正在更新最新分数要求，请见Acceptable English Tests。

We will be communicating this new requirement to all offered students (with or without outstanding conditions), in that these updated PTE scores will now apply to them if they have not been admitted into the course that they were offered. All students who are admitted will not be contacted regarding this change unless they decide to defer their studies to a future intake.

学校将向所有被录取的学生（无论是否有未满足的条件）传达这一新要求，更新的PTE分数将适用于未接受的学生。所有已接受的学生不会被告知这一变化，除非学生决定延期。
