Dear Valued Partner,

Department of Home Affairs (DHA) have recently made changes to the education providers’ Evidence Level which you will be find out more in theDHA website.

DHA has additionally made adjustments to theirGenuine student requirements(previously known as Genuine Temporary Entrant).

This change was announced as part of the Australian Government’sMigration Strategyreleased on 11 December 2023 and applies to all Student visa applications lodged on or after 23 March 2024.

We have attached a list of countries where DHA have placed additional English, financial and Genuine student requirements.

When submitting visa applications for these countries to DHA:

• Please ensure that you are checking the requirement for each country using theDHA Document checklist tool. Failure to submit the required documentation may result in a visa refusal.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as the new Genuine student requirements are introduced to market. We will continue to work closely with you to ensure students can successfully commence their student journey at Curtin University Perth.
