澳-科廷大学-PTE英语语言要求的变化

Dear Valued Partners,

Curtin University has recently completed a review of our English requirements of the Pearson Test of English (PTE) for meeting entry into all courses offered by Curtin. Please be advised that with immediate effect, the following changes to the PTE Academic scores will apply:

• the University minimum requirement will now be anOverall score of 69 with no bands below 59(this is applicable to courses with an overall IELTS requirement of 6.5 and all individual bands of 6.0)

The PTE requirements for all other courses have also been raised accordingly. Our website that contains the list ofAcceptable English Testsand theEnglish competency equivalents table(Mar 2024 version)is beingupdated to reflect the new scores.

Within the next two days, Global Admissions will be communicating this new requirement to all offered students (with or without outstanding conditions), in that these updated PTE scores will now apply to them if they have not beenadmittedinto the course that they were offered. All students who are admitted and been issued with a COE willnotbe contacted regarding this change unless they decide to defer their studies to a future intake.
