Changes to the Genuine Student assessment for students from South Asia

As part of the Genuine Student (GS) assessment process, a new financial matrix has been introduced to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of South Asian students' financial capability.Agents are required to pre-fill this financial matrix in the provided Excel format at the time of GS submission.

The matrix is available in the Studylink portal resources, our agent Resources folderand will be provided by the admissions teams when required.

Charles Sturt University will supply a PDF version of the financial matrix along with a support letter with the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). These documents should be uploaded as part of the visa application.

The financial matrix offers a clear and detailed overview of the student's financial situation, facilitating the DHA officer's decision-making process by providing a standardised format for assessing the financial adequacy of the applicant.
