5. Generous and competitive Scholarships

We are committed to recognising talent and ambition, offering a variety of scholarships to make studying at UCB more accessible to international students. See details below.

February 2025 intake scholarships

Although the merit-based scholarships have closed and been awarded for the February 2025 intake, students still have the opportunity to get up to £2,500 in scholarship if they meet payment deadlines. This include £2,000 if they pay deposit (50% of first-year tuition fee) by 20 January 2025 and another £500 if they pay full fee by 31 January 2025.

Instalment payment plan for international students

We will be offering an instalment payment plan for new international students, who will be required to pay 60% of the first-year tuition fee to enrol. They may then opt for two instalments of equal amount, which will be due by 30 November and 28 February, respectively. For February starters, the two instalments will be due by 30 April and 31 July, respectively.

The instalment payment plan for new international students will be available from the February 2025 entry. Returning international students already have the option to pay in instalments.

We operate an income-based commission payment scheme and all due commission will be payable once we have received the instalment payment from the student. We always encourage full payment and the early payment discount (which will become part of the Early Action Scholarship from September 2025 onwards) will continue to incentivise our students to pay in full before enrolment.

Waiving the personal statement and reference requirements

For students without a study gap or a gap less than 2 years for undergraduate application or 5 years for postgraduate application, they will no longer be required to submit a personal statement or references.

University of Warwick (UoW) accreditation

There will be a phased transition from UoW to UCB as the awarding body of some of our programmes, starting from September 2025. I would like to assure you that the transition will not have any impact on the academic quality, teaching & learning arrangements, or the student experience of these programmes. Students will benefit from lower tuition fees once UCB becomes the awarding body of these programmes. We will also be able to consider progression opportunities and other types of academic partnerships for these programmes which are currently impossible under the UoW arrangement. We will be sharing further updates in the new year on the detailed transition plan.

Thank you for your continued support. Until the next edition, stay well.
