墨尔本大学商学院申请政策有大变化啦！

墨尔本大学是澳洲年度研究经费最多的大学，在教育、法律、计算机科学、人文艺术、会计金融等多个领域名列前茅，其毕业生在全球各地的政治、文化、学术、商业舞台上表现突出。在2017年QS世界大学排名中，墨尔本大学位居第42名。墨尔本大学商学和经济学研究生院(Graduate School of Business and Economics,以下简称 'GSBE')，是澳洲墨尔本大学(The University of Melbourne)旗下的商科研究生院，每年因为培养了许多优秀的商业人才而闻名于澳洲。

这次由于墨大商学院申请量过大，为了保证高质量的世界级教育，选择最适合的学生，商学院2017年第一学期的申请将分为两组进行：

第一组为C9联盟大学平均分80分以上和985/211大学85分以上的申请。对于这组的申请将以相对较快速度给予评审结果;

第二组为C9大学75-79分和985/211大学80-84分，以及非211大学90分以上的申请。这组的申请结果将会在2017年10月31日以后公布，并采取择优录取的原则。

墨尔本大学商学和经济学研究生院(Graduate School of Business and Economics,以下简称 'GSBE')，是澳洲墨尔本大学(The University of Melbourne)旗下的商科研究生院，每年因为培养了许多优秀的商业人才而闻名于澳洲。

一、关于important points to counsel applicants for S1, 2017:

❤条例1

important points to counsel applicants for Semester 1,2017:

·Applicants who have a weighted average mark of at least 80% from C9 or 85% from 985/211 universities will receive outcomes on a rolling basis.

对于条例1提到的满足C9大学平均分80%以上，985/211大学85%以上的学生，可以享受墨尔本商学院快速申请通道，墨尔本大学会尽快给满足这个要求的学生出结果，而这一结果包括出offer或者reject.

❤条例2

Applicants who have a weighted average mark is 75-79% from C9 or 80-84% from 985/211 will be placed on hold until after the application deadline (31 October) and will then compete for remaining places based on academic merit.

对于条例2中提到的满足C9大学平均分75%-79%，985/211大学80%-84%的学生，这些学生会在2017年第一学期申请递交截止日期—2016年10月31日之前，都会处于一个on hold的状态，即学校在2016年10月31日之后，才开始处理满足这些条件学生的申请，所以这批学生是出offer还是被reject，结果会出来的比较晚，希望让学生提前做好心理准备。

二.关于Minimum entry requirements and selecion:

❤条例1

·Assessment for semester 1,2017 applications will commence 1 August,2016.If your client wishes to apply before then,please advise then,please advise them of the wait time involved.

对于2017年第一学期的申请，学校从2016年8月1日才着手开始审理，所以请注意等待时间。

❤条例2

While the minimum academic entry requirement to be considered for our programs will remain at 75% for C9 and 80% for 985/211 applicants,please note that for midyear 2016 the indicative entry score to our programs was 80% for C9 and 85% for 985/211 applicants.This indicative score may vary depending on the academic strength of each commencing cohort.

对于2017年第一学期的申请，满足最低入学要求的学生，即：C9大学平均分75%以上，985/211大学80%以上，这些学生可以尝试去申请，但是不能guarantee 他们的申请就能够成功。最后录取的分数线是由当年学生水平来决定的，每一学期的入学分线都会上下有所浮动，但是最低录取分数线保持不变，即：C9大学平均分75%以上，985/211大学80%以上。对此墨尔本大学保持最终解释权。

❤条例3

To be considered for a conditional offer,the applicant must have completed at least 6 semesters of study at the time of application with the required minimum average.The required grade specified on their conditional offer will be issue on a case-by-case basis depending on how the applicant is progressing in their degree.

对于Con-offer的申请条件, 申请者必须至少完成6个学期的学习。

❤条例4

from 1 May 2016,only one deferral per applicant will be permitted for a maximum of one semester(two semesters for programs with one intake per year).

每位学生只有一次defer offer的机会，对于1年两次开学的课程，学生最多只能往后defer一学期，而对于1年一次开学的课程，可以defer到下一年。

❤条例5

From 1 May 2016,Application fee waivers will only be offered by MBS or University of Melbourne staff to applicants from C9 universities with an average of 80% and above or 985/211 universitise with an average of 85% and above.

对于提出免申请费需求的学生，需要满足C9大学平均分80%以上，985/211 大学85%以上。

三： 关于Transferring into MBS from another University of Melbourne Programs：

We would like to offer a friendly reminder that students will only be considered after two semesters of study and assessment of their transfer would be based on their most recent results will compete for places with the commencing cohort.

对于提出在墨尔本大学其他学院转至商学院，必须先完成两个学期的学习，并以最近的成绩作为考核依据。

另外，墨尔本大学商学院还表示，由于各国家教育体系的不同，申请的课程不同，除了参考学生的成绩单，商学院也会根据具体本科背景专业及科目情况作出不同要求。
