This course provides you with all the knowledge and practical experience you will need to become a qualified Occupational Therapist and able to register with the HCPC. The programme offers a variety of practice placement opportunities which include extended part-time placements, role-emerging setting and an elective placement that can be take at home or overseas. The programme incorporates the excellent grounding in biological and social sciences that our undergraduate programme is renowned for. Students will have the opportunity to undertake research to develop the evidence base of the profession as well as opportunities to learn alongside master’s students on our other Allied Healthcare programmes. Our graduates have an excellent employment rate and because of the strong relationships we have with our local practice partners, they are highly regarded by local employers.
