In today’s competitive and highly interconnected world, all businesses must deal with significant levels of complexity and need engineers that can create innovative solutions to complex problems, by managing both the whole system (systemic) and the detailed engineering (systematic) aspects of the challenges. Systems engineering is an essential organisational competence for industries that deal with very large, complex, multi-disciplinary products and services. We have been teaching Systems Engineering since 1992 and our master’s was designed, and has evolved, in close collaboration with industry. Our graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to manage end-to-end engineering of complex systems to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. Our programme combines a strong emphasis on model-based systems engineering with the business considerations needed for delivering and managing high quality systems.
